Wiki

The Wiki is opened a couple of weeks prior to the annual Conference on the basis of the input developed via the forum. The contributions will form the basis of the issue papers to be given in preparation of each working group, which are chaired by the three ladies themselves.

Via the Wiki, you can directly edit policy contributions that will be discussed during the conference and then delivered to the formal negotiation process. You can also vote on or rate the proposed contributions.

To support the online activities, the Road to Copenhagen holds an annual conference, prior to the Conference of the Parties (COP) of the UNFCCC. The120 high-level participants, including serving legislators, former Heads of Government, business and civil society leaders, the conference is the highlight of the Road to Copenhagen initiative. It produces a politically-focused communiqué to be presented directly to the UNFCCC. The communiqué integrates website contributions, which are discussed, refined and finalised by the conference participants. This will ensure the communiqué is both politically and practically focused.

In order to produce a high quality debate and Communiqué, and with the view to ensure a geographical balance of participants, with expertise on the different thematic focus, and a fair representation of participants from the private sector, the civil society, and political and institutional leaders, the number is limited to 120. However, Road to Copenhagen is also keen on creating synergies with other initiatives; therefore, do not hesitate to contact us should you have any particular interest in attending the Conference and share with us your projects and contributions. And do not forget to post your event on the Wall of Events of CoolPlanet2009!

We will also be delighted to insert some of the most interesting news in our News section to show everyone that solutions are possible and already in place
