Conferences

To support the online/website activities, Road to Copenhagen initiative holds one high level conference per year, prior to the Conference of the Parties (COP) of the UNFCCC, in November or December. It produces a politically-focused communiqué to be presented directly to the UNFCCC. More

 
RTC I – Leadership, Sustainable Development and Climate Change
 
The Conference that took place on 23rd November 2007 gathered around 120 representatives from government, business and civil society. Drawing on the newly-launched website, it produced a Communiqué composed of recommendations addressed to the lead negotiators gathering at the Bali Post-2012 meeting. More

Stakeholders and experts taking par in the second edition of the Road to Copenhagen Conference that took place on 6th November 2008 called for more “climate justice” during the Poznan talks.
